  • 2017 was by far one of the toughest years, but also a year of great growth. There were many losses ,but also gains. There were times of hurt, heartache and sadness but there were also times of complete joy, love and deep connections. I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store, if it isanything like the ending of 2017, I can confidently say it will be amazing! Some of my highlights from this year: 1. Celebrating one year of marriage to my amazing husband. 2. Getting our baby dog Marley! 3. Caring for my father in law in his last hours 4. Starting rotations and falling in Love when women’s health. 5. Being part of big break throughs in my family. Thank you all for your constant support and I’m excited to continue this journey with you in 2018!

  • This pediatric rotation has caused the chronic dark circles under my eyes to make a return! Coming into PA school my heart was set on working in peds, but rotations have shown me that I am more passionate about other specialties. I do love kids but I can confidently say peds is not for me! Remember to keep your mind open to all opportunities because you never know when you will fall in love with something unexpectedly or not love something you had your heart set on. Keep your eyes out for a December giveaway coming soon!! ❤️‍️

  • Even during PA school it is so important to still stay connected with your family. They are your strong support. This past weekend we went to St.louis to be with my family for the funeral of my great grandmother, although we will miss her, the weekend was filled with so many great, fun, and loving moments that I know she is smiling from heaven. This pediatrics rotation has been really tough for me, but I came back today feeling refreshed! December 17th come soon, so I can go back and see my people!
