  • Can’t get over how good dinner was last night 🤤. Already can’t edit to have it again today! . Felt the need to share because duh sharing is caring and a lot have asked on my Instagram Stories ️. . This was simply a green container of spinach and arugula mix (from the bag), then a yellow container of cooked quinoa, topped with ground turkey seasoned with taco seasoning from @flavorgod , I sprinkled on half an orange container of sunflower seeds (hard time getting that orange in haha!), and then the other half of the orange container was a white balsamic dressing I get from Sams Club. . This meal is balanced, keeping my cravings at bay and satisfying my need for savory and crunchy at the same time . Eating healthy shouldn’t be complicated. We gotta keep it simple if we are pressed for time. Luckily I had my protein prepped out on Sunday and I made my batch of quinoa in my rice cooker yesterday . .   • We’re always waiting for the workday to end, the weekend to start, a big date, a fun getaway, bedtime, morning coffee, taco tuesday, the guy, the girl, the wedding, the career, the babies, the perfect life, the outcomes, the promises, the follow-through, the paycheck, tax returns, Christmas Day, long summer nights, crisp fall air, spring flowers, milestones and memories... yet all of this passes us by, so quickly because before it even hits us- the present is gone while we’re stuck in our own heads waiting for our next move, the next big thing.. the almighty future. We swear the future will be BIGGER & BETTER than the now but again.. that ‘moment’ we’re so desperately waiting for flies by before we blink because we’re so worried about the road ahead- wee lose our footing.

  • Yaaas! I made it to day 4 and I might not be able to make it up the stairs but I’m enjoying the challenge. If your feeling sluggish, unmotivated, tired, whatever it is GO workout for 30 minutes. I promise you’ll feel better. Endorphins are real and somehow completely exhausting myself in a workout gives me more energy and puts me in a better mood!
